A Certified Iyengar teacher, who has been teaching yoga since 1985, Cindy's expertise really shines through in Yoga Your Way: Customizing Your Home Practice. Cindy carefully details each pose so clearly you'll feel as if you're in class with her.

The poses have a minimum of two pages each. Some, such as Shoulder Balance, have more. On the front are the "Step by Step" instructions; on the back, the "Details & Variations."

With each pose are one or more photographs that show the finished pose or, sometimes, the steps to get into the pose; on the back, photos illustrate the variation(s). Each photo has "callouts" that point out the critical aspects of the pose.

Along with the instructions is a clock with the suggested time for holding the pose, and the "Benefits & Cautions" associated with each. We also give you the English and Sanskrit names of each pose.
